“GOTTA TRI” KIDS TRIATHLON

Description

Bring your “Tiny Tot” (Ages 3-6) or “True Trooper” (Ages 7-9) for a fun afternoon of kid-friendly triathlon activities!  Event course is modified for age group levels, with each group having their own course.  Participants will run, bike, and get wet as they make their way to the finish line where everyone receives a medal. This unique event is recreational (not competitive) and encourages young kids to get out and get active!  Bring a bicycle or tricycle (with helmet) and wear tennis shoes and comfortable athletic clothing that can get wet at the end.  A family member must assist each 3-6 yr. old as they make their way through the course. Parents should wear comfortable athletic clothing as well.  No swimming will take place, but participants will get wet as they make their way towards the finish line.

Time

Sunday, September 8, 2024  (Inclement Weather Date: September 15) 

For Ages 3-6  Between 1:30-2:30 PM as you arrive. 

For Ages 7-9  Between 2:30-3:15 PM as you arrive. No early check-ins due to 3-6 yr. old event.

For Ages 3-6  2:00-3:00 PM (Groups start every 5 minutes on a first come/first serve basis).

Course closes promptly at 3PM.

For Ages 7-9  3:00-3:45 PM (Groups start every 5 minutes on a first come/first serve basis).

Course closes promptly at 3:45 PM.

Pricing

$17.00 if pre-registered at Parks & Rec or on-line by Friday before the event.

$20.00 day of event

Cost includes a t-shirt and medal.  *T-shirts guaranteed for pre-registered, 

while supplies last for day-of registrants.
